What Happens When You Don't Have a Lid...

I found a great coffee pot at Goodwill the other day.

The only thing about my coffee pot was that it had no lid. 

So, what do you do when something has no lid, but really needs one to make it look complete?

First, you pick a beautiful hydranga bloom off of a hotel bush as you are leaving the parking lot.  Then you drive five hours home and hope it doesn't get smushed between your luggage.  Next, you place it in the top of the unlidded little beauty and viola, problem solved.

What would you have done?
