Honey gave me a gorgeous, original oyster painting by
Bellamy Murphy of Savannah for our
tenth anniversary. He went through
Savannah must-shop Sweet Tea to commission the stunning piece.
I’ve been chomping at the bit to get this beaut hung, but it needed a little something extra for the space I had in mind. When we originally purchased our home, the nook where I made our
growth chart in the upstairs hallway was originally a strange, floor to ceiling bookshelf that screamed Precious Moments figurines. Honey fashioned together five of the shelves to make a gorgeous, planked piece to back the Bellamy. I love that the wood is original to our 1968 home!

I could not be happier with the final look. I literally grin from ear to ear every time I walk by. I’ve updated my
Den Before & After post with the new look!

He’s a good man, that Honey!
xoxo
