Lynch Creek Farms Christmas Giveaway

For years I have used my own homemade garland and greenery cut from nearby woods and occasionally picked up some things from Lowe's. Well, last year as our photo shoot approached and my greenery was started to dry out (the shoot wasn't until mid January) I decided to splurge and order some fresh new greenery. I had some trouble finding anything available seeing how Christmas had come and gone at that point but saw that Kate from Centsational Girl had mentioned using Lynch Creek Farm the prior year. I went on their website and ordered a bunch of garland and several wreaths. I was absolutely delighted when they arrived. They wreaths were huge and so lush! Here is one of the wreaths on our porch last year:

This year they were so sweet and sent me boxes full of greenery including the garland on my chandelier and the gorgeous Southern Magnolia wreath above our buffet: 

And two of these darling window wreaths (I will show you where I put the other one next week):

I think my favorite thing, though is this little vintage wooden sled! I will show you more photos of it next week as well!

Inspired You

Inspired You, the much anticipated book by Marian Parsons (known here in blogland as Miss Mustard Seed) was officially released today! Marian is talented on so many levels. Not only did she write the book, she styled and photographed it all as well!

Marian's blog is one of my absolute favorites and I have to say her book is every bit as gorgeous as her blog. I think it goes without saying that it is a visual treat, but it is also a truly enjoyable read. Inspired You is not only loaded with tips and tutorials but it's also full of heartwarming personal stories (like the free piano her husband surprised her with), inspiration and encouragement. You don't have to love decorating to love this book. Reading it will inspire you to start following your dreams. What Marian has accomplished in the last few years is mind-boggling. Along with having a wildly successful blog, she's been featured in multiple magazines, was on the Nate Show, has her very own paint line and now this book!

I highly recommend picking up a copy for yourself and it would also make a great Christmas gift. And guess what? We are giving away TWO copies here on our blog today!

Silhouette Giveaway

I am so excited about today's giveaway! Kerstin of Crafted by Kerstin is offering one lucky reader one custom piece worth up to $125 from her shop! And this giveaway is just in time for Mother's Day!
