Congratulations on your one year anniversary. It is hard to believe it has been that long. I want it all!!! But would be very satisfied with the gorgeous filigree tray. I have been searching all over Texas for the perfect tray for my powder room to hold guest towels. This is it!!

Hi there...well with spring nearly on our doorstep. At least I think its going to be, barring any "surprises" from mother nature, I must admit I have been doing my fair share of day dreaming of bright blue skies, cool spring breezes, explosions of color from blooming buds and the smell of fresh cut green grass. Sounds good, huh? I cannot wait to steal a few minutes to grab a book, and a cup of coffee or tea and settle into a cozy nook outside and "get away" from everything.Just me, my book and good ol mother nature.It is definitely one of my most anticipated free luxuries, costs nothing but feels like a million bucks!

So imagine this........your family are all occupied doing their thing for the entire day. All of your chores/calls/emails have been addressed and completed. You are free as a bird. It is 68 degrees absolutely picture perfect. All phones get turned off. The only ring you hear is the sweet chirping of the happy birds doing a little spring dance. You excitedly grab that book you have been waiting to start, brew a fresh cup of coffee, throw on your flip flops and head outside for a few hours of uninterrupted bliss! So...you know the drill, pick your patio setting. Which one beckons to you? I can't wait to hear.....

  No one said this would be easy!! I see a few calling my name but if forced, think I could narrow it down. Do you prefer small cozy intimate spaces or larger grander ones that give you plenty of room to move around if you so choose? Which would you choose? Academy award edition!

Happy Saturday to you! We all know what time it is (tomorrow).....why The Oscars of course!! I love nothing more than getting into something cozy, grabbing some favorite snacks and settling into a cozy chair to take in all the Oscar glamour! My family knows to not disturb me come Sunday around 4pm unless its a MAJOR emergency...they know I take my  "entertainment tonight preshow" very seriously. Hey in a family of all "men"...its not an easy battle to always win! How about you? I admittedly, call me vain,  enjoy the pre show maybe a tad more than I do the actual awards but its all in good fun and sooooo glamorous.

So this year as I did last...its time to pretend that you are actually going to the big show. Yes, you get to sashay down the red carpet and strut your stuff! So.....the big question is what are you wearing? Or let me rephrase that who are you wearing as they  say in red carpet world. Which would you choose? Valentines day edition!

Happy Valentines day! Well in light of the holiday of love, this is a Valentines day edition of my weekly Which would you choose. So, here is my little scenario...... your significant other has decided to surprise you and whisk you off to your absolute most favorite restaurant in the world. It can be anywhere, no worries..the "travel fairies" have it all arranged!  Valentino    Ahhh so many beauties, I would wear any one of them.  So tell me which you would choose! Do you like dressing up going all out or do you prefer a casual night to kick back? We have a long standing tradition with one of my best friends and her husband, we go out to a favorite restaurant to celebrate every year and have been doing it for years...always look forward to a night of friendship, love and laughter! So tell me, what are you doing on this day of love?  PS Want to know what I am giving myself for this special day? Besides the small box of hand dipped chocolates I treat myself to every Valentines day. Well I always wanted to try this and lately am really into skincare, so bit the bullet and finally indulged in the award winning cream to the stars, La Prarie's famed Caviar cream. Yes its expensive, but hopefully worth it. As I have heard repeated, "never ever go cheap on your face". Right on. Will let you know how my face likes it:)
