Savannah: Girls Day Out

Mother was a doll to mind the littles ALL DAY while Sister and I shopped, dined and primped!

Our day started at Christopher’s Salon where I had my hair highlighted and cut.  Christopher and JB run the two chair salon out of their home and Mother and Daddy-O have been raving about them for ages.  They were remarkably cheaper than my salon in Atlanta, I was extremely pleased with their work and they are just the nicest guys you’ll ever meet!

Afterwards, we hopped over to the Gryphon for a divine little lunch at the counter in the gorgeous turn of the century pharmacy turned SCAD-run eatery.  In fact, I had my bridesmaid luncheon here many moons ago!  We opted for a pot of their hot vanilla tea, tea sandwiches, cheese straws and cucumber salad.  All mouthwateringly scrumptious!!  Oh, and we adored how they brought our check tucked inside a vintage book.

And we rounded out or afternoon at Number Four Eleven.  I adore the euro sham monograms on this bed and might have them do a couple for the baby’s big boy room once that gets underway.  Sister found a couple of gorgeous wood frames.

The amazone Claudia Fassaert and her horse Donnerfee are the Belgian representatives for the Olympic Games dressage.

Tomorrow Claudia and Donnerfee have to give the best of themselves!

Claudia lives in my neighbourhood (Geraardsbergen) so we are all excited to watch the event tomorrow !

Which would you choose?

Hi there, unfortunately have been sick since Saturday...but the good news is its turned a corner and today's the first day I am actually feeling slightly better, still tired and achey but much better, so the end is near, hate being sick in the summer!
Thankfully planned out my posts for this week already. One of these is overdue! Don't you think? Time for my weekly Which would you choose. So....lets just say you need to grab your magic wand and transplant the perfect breakfast room into your home. You know......one that is  perfect to hang out in on cold rainy mornings, one to get your family together in for lively meals and one that is inviting enough for "girls night" or Scrabble battles on a cold snowy morning. What makes up the perfect breakfast room to you? 16 beautiful choices here and the decision is in your hands. I see two that really appeal to me and look forward to hearing which you choose! So here we go..........

Sigh...breakfast would feel like a royal event in any one of these gorgeous breakfast rooms. Thought I have it narrowed down to two, but now not so sure!! Could I have one for each of my 16 virtual reality homes? :) So tell me, which is your choice? Is there a clear cut favorite? Tell me about it!! What makes up the perfect breakfast room anyway?

Wishing you a wonderful day!
