Caroline's Dress & International Women's Day
This dress was a hand-me-down from one of my favorite people, my friend Caroline. Even though it's hardly modest, I consider it my token housewife dress. I never feel more Stepford-y (in a good way!) than when I'm in it.
But since today is International Women's Day, there are more important things on the table: winning equality for the female race. Starting with the end of violence

Let's Talk About Gay Marriage
Happy Hump Day (that expression always makes me giggle!) and welcome to my only outfit post for this week. The dengue had me down last week, if you didn't hear, so I didn't get much photographing done.
This is my take on the monochrome trend! Meant to remind you that "monochrome" does not mean "grayscale" but "of, relating to, or made with a single color or hue" (at least, that's what

New Shoes For My Inner Feminist
I've clearly got guns on the mind these days, and perhaps that's how I ended up with this tattoo (inspired by these tights). And since women's shoes here are so cheap, I've been indulging in the occasional new pair as well! I adore these - I saw them and I instantly thought they were perfect class.

The Lazy Sunday Chronicles
Weekends, now that I'm working a job and a half and a blog and a whole lot of job applications in my "free" time, have become pretty mandatory hardcore fun-and-lounging days. Saturday is Funday, where we go out and get some good wholesome SP experiences, and Sunday is lie-around-and-pretend-we're-going-on-a-run-later day. And then Monday is too soon.

Inspiration Infatuation: The Caliber Collection
So I don't know about you, but I find it hard in this day and age not to waste inexhaustible amounts of time surfing the great WWW - and every now and then I find something that I really, really want the entire world to see because it is JUST THAT AWESOME. Inspiration that I am infatuated with. Inspiration infatuation! (I know it's actually a bit nonsensical (and maybe even really cheesy) but I

The One Where She Flails Her Tentacles (And They're Green)
Ta-dum-dum teeeentacleeeeees!!!! I've been in love with Les Queues de Sardines ever since I first discovered them (I can't remember when or how this was) but they were always so far away and so expensive that I never quite went for anything (they now do retail in parts of the States). Until Boyf seized upon the opportunity and got me these babies for my birthday last year. Nowadays I just put

Human Rights Day & 4 Organizations to Support While You're In The Giving Mood
In case these words didn't clue you in, we're going to go a bit off-blogtopic today, so be forewarned.
For those of you who don't know, December 10 (today!) is International Human Rights Day. Today marks the 64th anniversary of the UN adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948.
If you didn't know, both of us are very passionate about human rights - Jen has a Bachelor's

8 Songs to Get You In the Holiday Mood
1 - O Magnum Mysterium - Palestrina
I've been listening to a lot of Renaissance music lately. This is one of my favorites by the Signore Pierluigi da Palestrina, and also happens to be a Christmas song, so voilà! If you don't listen to this sort of stuff often, open your mind and give it a try! I recommend you listen to this one in headphones with your eyes closed - but be warned, this is BETTER
