Open House Party

Welcome to the Open House party!

Before we start this weeks party I want to thank each and everyone of you that join my party.  I am feeling really guilty for not being able to visit each of you and leave comments.  My life has changed drastically in the last nine months.  Taking care of my dad is a blessing, though sometimes not easy! I no longer have the time to spend on my blog, or visit other blogs, that I once did.  I have thought about shutting down for a while but my blogging buddies have been such huge support and your blogs offer me a temporary distraction from the stress.  Please forgive me if I am not visiting as often and I hope you know how very much I appreciate your support and friendship.

Thank You From The Bottom Of My Heart!

I have some great features from last week and I hope you enjoy....

Aimee @ The Vintage Estate  created this wonderful orb light using embroidery hoops.
Check out her blog for the tutorial.

Carol @ Art And Sand  has a very talented husband and last week she shared some
of his amazing paintings.

This beautiful Spring mantle was created by Revi @  Revisionary Life.

Open House Party

Welcome to the Open House party!

I guess you noticed there was no Open House party last week. I want to thank all of you
that emailed me wanting to know if I was okay.

I am fine,  but my laptop wasn't.  My computer crashed and it was in the shop for six
days. They were able to save most of my data... at a big price of course.  The laptop is
going back to the shop tomorrow because all my email is going to trash.

Since there was no party last week,  there will not be features at this party.  Hopefully,
next week we will be back to normal.

Thanks for visiting and please feel free to join the party this week without
linking back to me.

xx
Sherry

Open House Party

Welcome to the Open House party.

I hope everyone had a great News Years.  There is an old saying "What you do on New
Years day is what you will be doing the rest of the year."   If this is true I should have a
very lucky 2013.  I received an email yesterday that I had won $500 of bedding from
a blog giveaway. Yippee!  I'll  be back later to share my win.

There were so many great links to last weeks part and I chose a few to feature this week.

Enjoy....

Amanda at Dixie Delights  showed us her pretty New Years tablescape using collard
greens as a centerpiece.  Check out her recipe for champagne cupcakes and champagne
jello shots.  Did you eat collard greens to bring more money to you in 2013?

This beautiful bedroom belongs to Kristel @ The Velvet Door. Visit her blog
to see the wonderful transformation of her bedroom and master bath.

I don't know anyone that enjoys decorating for Christmas more than Debbie at
A Debbie-Dabble Christmas.   In this post she answers questions about decorating
her nineteen beautiful trees and the many Christmas vignettes.

Open House Party

Welcome to the Open House party.

Thank you for joining the party each week!

Only six days till Christmas!

  Are you ready?

Enjoy the wonderful inspiration from last weeks party....

I had to giggle at the conversation Suzan @ Simply Vintageous had with
her husband about decorating this ladder.  I love it SuzyQ.

Judy @ JBigg's Little Pieces shared her daughters beautiful tree that
she helped decorate.

This amazing cloche was the centerpiece of a beautiful table created
by Linda at  A Toile Tale.

Katie @ Creatively Living  gives us a tour of her home beautifully
decorated for Christmas.

I hope you enjoyed the features.  There will be no Open House party
next Thursday as we will be celebrating the holiday with family.

Two of my grandchildren will be visiting tomorrow and I will be giving them
lots of hugs and kisses. After last weeks terrible tragedy I will be holding on to
them tightly and praying for their safety.

Wishing each of you a Happy Holiday.

xoxo,
Sherry
