Waterlogged and sand-laden, we grabbed some slushies for the littles and then hit a few Tybee must shops like Seaside Sisters and Latitude 32 (and the Shops at Tybee Oaks) to ogle a variety of coastal inspired finds. (One of the beauties of Tybee is that anything goes - you can shop any shop and eat in any restaurant while waterlogged and sand-laden and no one bats an eye.)
And then we headed out to see the Savannah Sand Gnats play what just might’ve been the most boring baseball game ever. Lack of runs and sorry hits aside, it’s a fun way to get up close and personal with the minor league as seats right behind home plate are pretty easy to come by and the snack stands have all sorts of ballgame goodness like hotdogs, peanuts and Cracker Jacks.
The littles have crashed and I’m right behind them!
xoxo
