But these beauts come with a pretty fine price tag and, again this year, I resigned myself to the fact that it wasn't going to happen. That is, until I had the (what I thought to be) genious idea to go with a much more attainable white tree. And so I procured it, decorated it and absolutely, positively HATED it. It was so incredibly artificial. The tree too white and the ornaments too gold. Everything was off. It was like some sort of glowing alien beacon. UGH.
I despised it so much that I took the whole darned thing down and put up a green tree the very next day. It came and went so fast that I don't even have a picture of it in the daylight. (But I assure you it was equally as hideous.) And all was well in half crazed, entirely type A Amanda-land.
You can bet your bottom dollar I won't be straying from a traditional green tree anytime soon.
Happy Monday y'all. It's the last day of Christmas vacation around these parts. Boo hoo hoo.
xoxo
